Restless Leg Syndrome: Could PEMF Therapy Offer Relief?

When your legs will not let you rest

You finally get comfortable in bed, the house is quiet, and then it starts. That pull in your legs, the twitching, the jumping, the feeling that you simply cannot stay still. You get up, walk around, lie back down, and it starts all over again. If this sounds familiar, I want you to know how exhausting that is, because I lived it.

My experience with restless legs

For a long stretch of time, I had severe restless leg syndrome. My legs would jump on their own, and some nights it kept me awake until morning. After a night like that, everything feels harder the next day, from your mood to your energy to how well you can think.

I started researching what could support my restless legs and the other uncomfortable nerve sensations I was dealing with, and that is how I found PEMF technology. I started doing 20 minute PEMF treatments, 3 times a week, and when I stayed consistent, my symptoms began to ease and eventually disappeared. At some point I realized I could not remember my last restless night. The jumping had stopped, and today it is completely gone.

What PEMF therapy is

PEMF stands for pulsed electromagnetic field therapy. During a session, you rest on a mat that sends gentle, low-frequency electromagnetic pulses through your body. Most people describe the feeling as mild and relaxing, some feel slight tingling sensations, and many find support with pain, recovery, and relaxation.

What my clients have shared

I am not the only one who has noticed a difference. Some of my clients have found relief from neuropathy symptoms, and others have shared signs of nerve healing along the way. Every case is different, and every body responds in its own way and in its own time, which is why I love getting to know each person's story before we begin. PEMF is meant to complement the care you already have, so I always encourage you to keep your doctor in the loop as you explore what supports you.

Trying PEMF at Revitalize in West Seattle

At Revitalize, my private, home-based spa in West Seattle, PEMF is part of the Introductory Wellness Circuit. It is a 90-minute treatment that combines a vibrational plate, a PEMF mat, and an infrared sauna in one calm, unhurried session where the focus is completely on you. If you would like to try PEMF on its own, you can book a 30 minute Wellness Circuit and spend that time on the PEMF mat.

If you are in West Seattle or the greater Seattle area and you are curious, I would love to hear your story and help you decide whether this is a good fit. You can book through my website and if you're not sure where to start, I offer free15-minute virtual consults.
